OASC MIM8: Ecosystem indicator management
Last updated
Cities and towns are complex systems, and no two cities or towns are identical in the scale or scope of their complexity. Still, there is increasingly clear value when cities benchmark some measurements against comparable peer cities, as well as learn from the success and failures of other cities. Innovation ecosystems are no exception. Ecosystem indicator management allows:
● Development of consistent measures of the ability of different cities to provide a healthy and effective ecosystem that nourishes digital transformation and supports interoperability of data, systems, and services,
● Governing of cities’ performance against these measures,
● Benchmarking of results and practices among comparable peer cities,
● Planning, deploying, and monitoring ecosystem improvement initiatives
